JAIPUR:
Vijender Singh, who is WBO Oriental Super Middleweight and WBO Asia Pacific champions, said that he has serious doubts about how his opponent Ghana's Ernest Amuzu will last before him on Saturday.
At a media interaction a day before the mega event 'Rajasthan Rumble', the poster boy of Indian boxing said, "It is a matter of just one good punch and the bout is decided.
But I am not taking anything easy," he added.
Vijender also spoke about being challenged by British star
Amir Khan despite the fact that the two boxers are in altogether different weight categories.
Khan competes in the light welterweight division and his decision of jumping to even welterweight had ended in a knockout loss.
"I feel we should now face each other. I am willing to take him on and would like to fight against him next year," he said.
Talking about his Jaipur connection, the ace boxer said, "he clearly remembers how he would go shopping at the iconic Bapu Bazar or Johri Bazar. "Coming from a small town, those things were really big for me. I would roam around the market and do a fair amount of shopping," he said. "One thing I must say that here was something about the Pink City that I fell in love with."
